Terms and conditions of sale
Conditions générales de vente · last updated 19 September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
BIDMAP is operated by Sparks SAS in France, contactable at michael@sitebatch.com. Full publisher details are in the legal notice.
2. Who can take part
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to pay. You confirm this at checkout. Accounts and contributions made by minors will be refunded and removed.
3. What you are buying
Digital content and digital services only: points added to a country's score in the current season, a non-transferable digital supporter collectible, and optionally a promotional sponsor placement. Nothing physical is sold or shipped.
You are not buying a wager, a lottery ticket, an investment, a security, a crypto-asset, ownership of anything, or any chance to win money. No participant receives cash or prizes with monetary value. Awards, captaincies and rankings are recognition only.
4. Prices, VAT and payment
Prices are displayed in US dollars (USD) before payment. Any applicable VAT is calculated and shown by our payment provider at checkout; for point purchases Stripe acts as the seller of record and handles the VAT on the transaction. Where Sparks SAS invoices directly (for example sponsor placements), VAT is applied according to its registration status at the time of the order.
Payment is by card or another method offered by Stripe Checkout. We never see or store your card details. The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed; you then receive an email confirmation and receipt from the payment provider.
5. Delivery
Delivery is immediate and electronic: once the payment is verified, the points are added to the country's score and your collectible is created. No points are ever added when checkout merely opens, and returning to the success page never adds points by itself.
6. Right of withdrawal (14 days) and its waiver
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content supplied immediately, that right is lost once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right (Articles L221-25 and L221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
Because points are applied to the live leaderboard the moment your payment is verified, we ask for that express consent with a required tick box before checkout. If you do not tick it, we cannot start the purchase.
If you have not yet received the content (for example payment was taken but no points were applied), you keep your full 14-day right of withdrawal — email us and we refund in full within 14 days using the original payment method.
7. Refunds, errors and goodwill
Beyond the rules above, we refund in full on request within 14 days of purchase in cases of technical error, duplicate charge, a purchase made for the wrong country, or any purchase where the content was not delivered as described. Refunds reverse the matching points exactly once and never reduce a score below zero.
Fraudulent, abusive or disputed payments may be reversed, quarantined or refused, and the associated points removed.
8. Legal guarantee of conformity
Digital content and digital services are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). If the service does not conform, you may require it to be brought into conformity or obtain a price reduction or refund, at no cost to you.
9. Names, messages and content you submit
Supporter names, rally messages and sponsor content are screened and moderated. We may hide or remove content that is abusive, hateful, misleading, impersonating, unlawful or commercial spam, without removing the underlying payment record. You keep ownership of what you submit and grant us the right to display it on the site and in share cards for the season and its archive.
10. Availability, seasons and changes
Seasons run for a published period. When a season ends, new checkouts stop immediately and the leaderboard is frozen and archived; contributions never carry over to another season. We may pause contributions, suspend features or end a season early for security, legal or technical reasons — in that case any payment taken for content not delivered is refunded.
We may update these terms for future purchases. The version that applies to your purchase is the one shown on the day you pay.
11. Liability
We are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our failure to perform this contract. Nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights, or our liability for fraud, death or personal injury. We are not liable for the outcome of a season, a ranking, a rivalry, or for third-party sponsor or affiliate content.
12. Personal data
Handling of your data is described in the privacy notice.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the protection of the consumer law of your country of residence. Complaints go first to michael@sitebatch.com; if unresolved, EU consumers may use the online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, and French consumers may refer the matter to a consumer mediator free of charge.
